Shipping Policy (Updated for Alaska & Restrictions)

1. Where We Ship We currently ship to the contiguous 48 United States and Alaska. Note: Orders to Alaska may require additional shipping fees and transit time.

2. Where We DO NOT Ship (Restricted Areas) Due to USDA agricultural regulations regarding live fungal cultures and biological materials, we strictly cannot ship to the following locations:

  • Hawaii (HI)

  • Puerto Rico (PR)

  • U.S. Virgin Islands & Guam

  • APO/FPO Military Addresses If you place an order to these restricted addresses, your order will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

3. Shipping to Alaska (Important Notice)

  • Shipping Rates: Rates for Alaska are calculated based on USPS Zone 9 pricing to cover the higher transportation costs.

  • Winter Risk: Mushroom spawn is a living organism. If you are ordering to Alaska during winter months, please be aware that extreme cold may affect the viability of the culture. We are not responsible for freeze damage on shipments to Alaska. We highly recommend ordering during milder weather.

4. Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1-3 business days.

  • Freshness Guarantee: To ensure your mycelium arrives alive and healthy, we avoid shipping on Fridays or weekends to prevent packages from sitting in uncontrolled warehouses.

5. Shipping Methods

  • Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days via USPS Ground Advantage or Regional Carriers.

  • We utilize a hybrid shipping network to get the best rates and speed for your specific location.
