❓ How long does shipping take and what are the shipping fees?
📦 Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days. Standard US shipping typically takes 3–7 business days. Expedited options are available at checkout. Shipping fees are shown at checkout based on your location and service. Free shipping may apply for select promotions or order amounts.
❓ Can I track my order?
📦 Yes. After dispatch you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can check your package status anytime.
❓ What should I do if my kit arrives damaged, moldy, or defective?
🌱 If your kit arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll review quickly and offer a free replacement or a refund—your choice. Your satisfaction and growing success are our top priority.
❓ Can I return or exchange the product? Under what conditions?
🔄 Yes. We accept returns/exchanges if the product is unused and unopened, or if it arrives defective. Please contact us within 7–14 days of delivery with order details and photos (if applicable). Opened and used items may not be eligible due to the perishable nature of mushroom kits. Refunds or replacements will be arranged after the return is confirmed.
❓ How do I apply for an education discount?
🎓 Contact customer service before ordering and provide proof of enrollment or a valid school ID. Once verified, we’ll issue a unique discount code for checkout.
❓ What environment conditions do I need to grow mushrooms?
🌱 Our kits grow easily indoors at 18–24 °C (65–75 °F). Provide indirect light, fresh-air exchange, and regular misting to keep the surface humid. A kitchen counter or living-room shelf with moderate light usually works great. No special equipment required.
❓ Can I reuse the substrate after harvesting?
🍄 After the main harvest, the block may produce one or two smaller flushes if kept moist and in good conditions. Once nutrients are depleted it won’t produce new mushrooms. Many customers reuse the spent substrate as garden compost/soil enrichment—an eco-friendly option.
❓ What if my mushrooms don’t grow or growth stops?
🌱 Growth depends on temperature, humidity, and fresh air. Keep the kit at 18–24 °C (65–75 °F) with indirect light and daily misting. In dry regions, mushrooms can dry out and stop—once dried, the block won’t resume. Keep the surface moist to avoid drying. If problems persist, contact us with your order number and photos—we’ll troubleshoot or send a replacement.
